Dr. Patrick Martin is a roboticist and educator with over 17 years of academic, industry, and government experience. His work investigates and develops the algorithms, abstractions, and architectures to create collaborative, safe human-robot teams. Patrick received a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Georgia Institute of Technology, an MS in Electrical Engineering from the University of Maryland, and a BS in Physics and Applied Mathematics from Hampden-Sydney College. He is currently an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at University of Richmond.
